Désigne sans doute le fils de celui qui s'appelle Bon (voir ce nom). Rare, c'est dans la Charente que le nom est le plus répandu. Les noms de famille Aubonneau (86) et Aubonnet (69), renvoient respectivement à Bonneau et Bonnet.
